On Friday, November 12, Pacifica Quartet (two-time Grammy Award winner, including the 2021 Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble) will be on campus to provide two events:
- String Quartet Masterclass @ 2:30PM:
Pacifica Quartet will work with UNK’s scholarship student ensemble Thornton String Quartet (Josh Wetovick/violin I, Colton Hervert/violin II, Rochelle Hazelton/viola, Rachel Witt/cello)
- Pacifica Quartet Concert @ 7:30PM:
This evening concert will feature Florence Price String Quartet No. 1 in G Major; Prokofiev String Quartet No. 2 in F Major, Op. 92; and Dvorak String Quartet No. 14 in A-flat Major, Op. 105.
Both events are in the UNK Fine Arts Recital Hall and free and open to the public.
