UNK held off a 38-11 second-half run by Northeastern St. Sunday, Jan. 13 to win 80-72. The win was the Lopers’ fifth in their past six contests. They improve to 10-5 on the season with a 3-3 record in MIAA play. Klaire Kirsch filled up the box score with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Lopers. Brooke Carlson had 15 points, her fifth consecutive game accomplshing the feat after not scoring more than 14 a single time prior. Cenia Hayes had 24-17-6 in the losing effort for Northeastern St. The Lopers will be on the road this week before returning home Thursday, Nov. 24.
