Writing for “The Antelope” this semester was different for me than it has been the past two semesters in which I had written. I joined the spring semester of my freshman year and have enjoyed writing articles for a little extra spending money. But this time it’s different. This time I have to write because I am a member of the class JMC 350, which also means I don’t get paid for writing this semester. That’s O.K., though, because I still gained experience in my field of interest while checking off one of the boxes on my degree audit.

Grammy award winning rock band Greta Van Fleet will soon be releasing a long-awaited second album. Best known for their song “Highway Tune” which appeared on their first EP, “Black Smoke Rising.” After the release of another EP, “From the Fires,” Greta Van Fleet went on to release a full album, “Anthem of the Peaceful Army.” Now, the Greta Van Fleet community is awaiting a second full album called “The Battle at Garden’s Gate.”

LPAC Day of Kindness event helps students relieve stress

Students gathered in the Nebraskan Student Union Friday to get their own build-a-bear stuffed animals or succulent planters. The event was put on by the Loper Programming and Activities Council and was held just in time for both Valentine’s Day and Random Acts of Kindness Day.
