Journalism maintains democracy, changes the world

I often think of a quote by Andrew Vachss that says “Journalism is what maintains democracy. It’s the force of progressive social change.” I have been involved in journalism for quite a few years, but out of all the positions I have worked under, none of them were as interesting as working as a reporter.
‘Antigone Now’ will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday March 20 in the Miriam Drake Theater. It is a modern version of the Greek play by Sophocles.

“Antigone Now,” written by Melissa Cooper, is a play engulfed in ethical dilemmas, and it will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday March 20 in the Miriam Drake Theatre. The production is directed by Samm Hanks, a senior English 7-12 education and theatre major.
