From “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny”, to “Father of the Year”, here are the five worst Netflix movies this year (according to Rotten Tomatoes). In the past few years Netflix has really hit a low point in their original movie producing.

“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny” is the sequel to “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.” The original “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” movie was a culturally influential movie and had huge hits. The sequel, not so much. Like most sequels, it didn’t measure up to the original movie.

“Sextuplets,” is about a man who learns he is going to be a new father to sextuplets. The father is played by Marlon Wayans. This movie is like “Madea” because most of the main characters are actually played by Marlon Wayans. But this film just didn’t do a good job of portraying these character changes. I definitely don’t think it is worth the time of watching it.

“The Last Thing He Wanted” is a movie that stars Anne Hathaway and Ben Affleck so, I assumed that it was going to be a good movie, because most of the movies they star in are worth watching. But honestly, I agree with the critics on rotten tomatoes, the movie is very confusing and hard to follow. I get confused easily, probably because I’m blonde, so this type of movie wasn’t fascinating to me.

“The True Memoirs of An International Assassin” stars Kevin James. Kevin James once again is a well known actor so, Netflix thought this would help their movie out. But in the end I didn’t find the movie as funny as it was supposed to be. I thought that it was very boring and not entertaining.

“Father of the Year” is a comedy on Netflix. This movie is a rivalry between college students and their dads to see who would win in different challenges that they set up. During the beginning, I thought this was an okay movie but by the end I was very bored.

Netflix needs to step up their game with their original movies because I haven’t watched any in the last 6 months that have kept my interest or that I would ever watch again.
