Sabrina Carpenter started as a child actress and then became one of the biggest pop stars. As a child, my favorite movies and shows of hers were “Girl Meets World,” “Adventures in Babysitting” and “The Hate U Give.” Seeing her make music and coming to fame is nice to see.
She has twelve songs on her album “Short n’ Sweet,” which total about 36 minutes. Like the title of her album and the lengths of her songs, not one song goes over four minutes – it is short and sweet.
“Espresso” is a perfect song to listen to when the sun is setting while driving or just sitting on the patio. “Please Please Please” is the type of song to listen to when it’s close to the weekend and the day is about to end. I personally like to listen to “Taste” when I am trying to finish my homework because the beat and rhythm get me motivated.
Radio stations, like Hits 106, are having her three most popular songs play on repeat. There is no way to miss her latest music. “Please Please Please,” “Taste” and “Espresso” all have high view counts that people, like myself, listen to on a daily.
Her music is trending on social media as well. One example of a trend using her music is where an influencer makes a video about something embarrassing that happened to them with the song “Please Please Please” playing in the background.
In general, people are talking about her music videos on TikTok and rating the lyrics of her music. People also like to see who is being cast in her music videos like her alleged boyfriend in “Please Please Please.” I have seen a lot of videos with her music in it on these different trends.
Her most popular music video that is being talked about is “Taste.” This is because it has Hollywood’s hottest actress, Jenna Ortega. On top of that, there are allegations that fans are saying that Carpenter is coming open about what inspired her songs and music videos. An example would be that “Taste” is inspired by her past relationship.
Although Carpenter’s music is sometimes overplayed, her songs have some good beats and rhythms to them that get you pumped. Listening to her album on the radio over and over had me seeking more albums from her. I see myself turning up the volume even more when it plays on the radio. My favorite music video would have to be “Taste.” I personally like Ortega and Carpenter together because I would watch them both on television growing up. My favorite song to jam out to is “Please Please Please” because it is so easy to sing along to and enjoy. I like this album more than the others because all the songs are so catchy. Out of five Loper stars, I give the album “Short n’ Sweet” a four.
