Thunderhead Brewery has everything college students are looking for — good beer, good food and a fun atmosphere. 

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff that matched the fun and relaxing atmosphere. Right away, they gave us menus and were ready to get us beverages.

The staff was helpful with helping us navigate the menu. We found exactly what we wanted and were given great recommendations on drinks as well.

Every night Thunderhead Brewery features a deal on a certain beverage. The night I went, they had half-priced ThunderPunch, which is the business’s original seltzer-like beer. As someone who does not like beer, I was hesitant to try it, but the waiter reassured me that I should. It tasted similar to a Jones soda, which I use to love as a kid, so the T-Punch, as Thunderhead visitors call it, did not disappoint.

Within 10 minutes after ordering our main meal, the pizza arrived hot and fast to our table. Alongside the fast service, the pizza looked amazing and not rushed at all. As I took my first bit of barbeque chicken pizza, I knew we had picked the right place to eat. The cheese melted in my mouth, the chicken was tender and flavorful and the barbeque sauce was the perfect ratio of sweet and tangy.

The waiter was very attentive and did a great job throughout the night. Looking around, I could tell the staff was happy to work at this establishment, and customers were delighted to be there.

Overall Thunderhead Brewery had it all. Lightning-fast service, outstanding food and beverages, a welcoming ambiance and an exceptional staff.
