UNK has announced that Greek students will no longer be required to move out of the University Residence buildings at the end of this year.
Administration had originally planned to move all Greek Life students to Nester Hall starting in Fall 2020. But, due to a short timeline and student pressure against the plan for Nester, the decision has been deferred for an additional year. Next fall, Greek chapters will remain in their current locations. UNK will be launching a collaborative effort with Greek Life students to complete a plan that works for both the university and the students affected by the decision that includes additional meetings, focus groups and expanded deadlines.
