Administrators announced two meetings for the upcoming week to gather public feedback on university staffing concerns on Thursday and on campus respect and inclusion on Sunday. Community input will be considered in the administration’s upcoming decisions.
The Thursday meeting will facilitate a campus conversation between faculty and staff discussing shared governance in the face of budget cuts. It will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be livestreamed at unk.edu/eventdashboard. Comments and questions can be sent via email to chancellor@unk.edu.
Sunday’s meeting, led by senior vice chancellor Charles Bicak, will continue a forum held last month about respect and inclusion on campus. The meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in the Ponderosa Room.
