Great work Paloma and Jordan! I really missed the sand court outside Ludden when it was removed in 2006. Ludden had a great annual tournament event that would be great to see return. Any news yet on the tennis courts north of Mantor removed in 2005? I remember being told those would be replaced too.

Eunjung, I can’t speak for the American students you have encountered, but I will speak for myself and for my family! I love having you here! I teach International students daily, and I love and am very passionate about what I do! Ask anyone! My children ask all the time to come with me to whatever cultural event I am attending. They love having you here! You enrich the lives of so many by what you have to offer.

I know that the Host Family program is continuing to grow. As more families found out about the program, I am sure that we will see an increase in the number of students that can have this “American family” experience! It is still a fairly new!

Lastly, thank you for choosing UNK when you were looking at a “study abroad” program! It was a good choice. I am glad you came and so is my family!

I agree completely, SOPA is a good thought, but due to lack of detail it was a disaster waiting to happen. On the soon to be occupational side for me, I use programs such as TOR, which participated in the black out, that allows users to search the web with an anonymous web address due to bouncing through a random network of proxies. Software like this, and others related to it are used in many professional fields and unfortunately many criminal acts as well.
Though it is criminal for people to use and support pirating sights, if SOPA had been passed in the status it currently was, it would be a crime against the people.
